Geology across North Florida varies more than people expect. Sandy uplands along Trail Ridge near Keystone Heights behave differently from the river sediments under Palatka or the farmland soils around Hastings. But foundation type matters just as much as geology, and nearly everything here is slab-on-grade, which concentrates radon rather than dispersing it. That is why a clean result in one town tells you very little about a house one county over.
